How it works

Every call answered.
Even the ones you can’t take.

Forward your business number and a receptionist answers it on the first ring — at 2am, on a Sunday, while you are under a sink. It takes the details, books the job into your calendar, and hands you a recording and a transcript.

10 free minutes to start. No card to begin, and nothing to install.

247 Reception: every call answered, day or night.
A tradesperson checking their phone outside a house at dusk, beside the line: the workday ends, calls don't.

The problem

The workday ends. The calls do not.

Most emergency calls come in after six. A burst pipe, a dead furnace, a tree on a roof — none of it waits for office hours, and none of those callers leave a voicemail.

They ring the next company on the list. You never find out the call happened, which is what makes this expensive in a way that does not show up anywhere you look.

An electrician working inside a consumer unit, beside the line: your hands are full, the call gets answered.

The problem

Your hands are full. The phone does not care.

You cannot take your hands out of a panel, off a wrench, or out from under a sink to answer a call. So it rings out, and the person on the other end moves on.

The jobs you lose this way are not the ones you quoted and lost. They are the ones you never knew existed.

247 Reception creative about missed calls costing leads.

The problem

Every missed call is a lead that cost you money to get.

You pay for the van, the ads, the listing and the website. All of it exists to make the phone ring. The moment it rings and nobody picks up, every one of those costs was spent for nothing.

A missed call is not a neutral event. It is the most expensive thing that happens in a working day.

A caller talking to the AI receptionist, beside the line: a natural voice, built for your business.

What callers hear

A natural voice, answering in your business name.

It picks up on the first ring and greets the caller as your business — not as a service, not as an assistant, not with a menu.

It handles interruptions, so people can talk over it the way they would with a person. The honest way to judge this is to hear it, which is why there is a demo rather than a page of adjectives.

A tradesperson at a laptop configuring services and hours, beside the line: your business, your answers.

Setup

Your business. Your answers.

Paste your website and it drafts what the receptionist should know: your services, your hours, your pricing, what to say when someone asks something awkward.

You edit it in plain English. No call-tree builder, no scripts to write, no flowchart.

A phone forwarding a business line to a receptionist, beside the line: keep your number, add coverage.

Setup

Keep your number. Add the coverage.

No new number on your van. No new handset. Nothing to install.

Forward your existing business line and the calls you were already missing start being answered. If you would rather, we provision a separate number instead — but most people keep the one their customers already have.

A call turning into a calendar appointment, beside the line: from first ring to booked appointment.

During the call

From first ring to booked appointment.

It does not just take a message and promise someone will ring back. It checks your Google Calendar for a free slot and books the job while the caller is still on the line.

The appointment is in your calendar before they have hung up — which is the difference between a lead and a booking.

A phone showing caller details, a recording and a transcript, beside the line: know who called and why.

After the call

Know who called, and why.

Every call gives you the caller's name and number, the reason they rang, a recording and a full transcript.

Not a notification that says you missed a call. The actual contents of the call.

A tradesperson reading a call summary on a phone beside their van, with caller details, recording and transcript.

After the call

Know what happened before you call back.

Ringing someone back blind is a bad look. You are asking them to explain their problem for a second time, to a company that has already failed to pick up once.

Open the call, read what they said, then ring them knowing the job, the address and the urgency.

A plumber working under a kitchen sink while a call is answered, beside the line: on the job, your calls are covered.

On the job

Under a sink, up a ladder, between jobs.

It makes no difference where you are or what you have in your hands. The phone gets answered, the details get taken, and the lead stays yours.

You deal with it when you put your tools down, with everything already written up.

247 Reception creative about a business that never sleeps.

Always on

It does not take lunch, holidays or Sundays.

Two in the morning on a bank holiday is the same as ten on a Tuesday. There is no rota, no sick day, and no month where it costs more because it worked more hours.

That is the part a human receptionist cannot match at this price, and the part voicemail has never done at all.

Answering, whatever time it is

There is no version of this where the phone rings out because it is late, or busy, or a bank holiday.

What it costs

Questions people actually ask

How does an AI receptionist actually work?

You forward your business number to it. When someone calls, it answers on the first ring in your business name, answers questions using the information you gave it, and takes the caller's name, number and reason for calling. If they want an appointment it checks your Google Calendar and books one. Afterwards you get a recording, a transcript and the caller's details.

What happens if it cannot answer a question?

It takes a message rather than inventing an answer. You get the recording and transcript, so you can follow up knowing exactly what was asked. That is deliberate — a receptionist that guesses about your pricing or your availability causes more work than it saves.

Do I need a new phone number or any hardware?

No. It works by forwarding the business number you already have, so your vans, your listings and your customers' phones all stay correct. There is nothing to install. If you would prefer a separate line, we can provision one instead.

Will callers know it is not a person?

Some will and some will not. It uses a natural speaking voice and handles being interrupted, but we do not claim it is indistinguishable from a human and we do not think you should tell your callers that it is. What it does reliably is pick up, understand the job and get the details down.

How much does it cost?

For a business, plans start at $99 a month for 250 minutes of answered calls, up to $399 for 1500 minutes. If you just want your own phone answered while you are busy, the Personal plan is $12 a month for 40 minutes. Every account gets 10 free minutes and a 7-day trial, and you can cancel before it ends without being charged.

How long does setup take?

Minutes rather than days. Paste your website, review what it drafted about your business, and forward your number. There is no onboarding call to sit through and no configuration to pay for.

A contractor on his phone at dusk, beside the line: try it on your own calls, start your 7-day free trial.

Try it on your own calls.

Do not take our word for how it sounds. Forward your line for 7 days and listen to what your callers actually hear. If it is not doing the job, turn the forwarding off and nothing has changed.

Professional is $199 a month for 600 minutes. One booked job a month covers it for most trades.
