Terms of Service

Last updated: August 9, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the 247 Reception platform, including our website, dashboard, APIs, and the AI-powered phone answering service we provide (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

We provide an AI-powered virtual receptionist that answers, transcribes, and can record inbound and outbound phone calls on your behalf, using third-party voice and telephony infrastructure (including Vapi and Twilio) and third-party AI models. The Service may book appointments to a calendar you connect, and may collect caller information for that purpose.

2. Call Recording and Consent

The Service records calls by default for quality assurance, training, and dispute-resolution purposes. A spoken disclosure is included at the start of each call. You are responsible for complying with applicable call-recording consent laws in the jurisdictions where you and your callers are located, and for configuring your assistant's greeting appropriately for your business and location.

3. Accounts and Trials

New accounts may receive a free trial with a limited amount of included call minutes. We may automatically suspend call handling once trial or plan minutes are exhausted until you upgrade or purchase additional minutes. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

4. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation

Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis through PayPal until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method automatically each billing cycle. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard; cancellation stops future charges but does not retroactively refund the current billing period except as described in our Refund Policy. Pay-as-you-go minute purchases are one-time, non-recurring charges.

5. Acceptable Use

  • You will not use the Service for unlawful robocalling, spam, or harassment.
  • You will not use the Service to impersonate another person or business without authorization.
  • You will not attempt to interfere with, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service.
  • You are responsible for the content of your assistant's instructions and any calls it makes or answers on your behalf.

6. Data and Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party providers (including Vapi, Twilio, Google Calendar, and AI model providers) to function. Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers' applicable terms. See our Privacy Policy for details on how call data, transcripts, and recordings are stored and used.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated responses may occasionally be inaccurate; you are responsible for reviewing appointment bookings and lead information for accuracy. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraud or abuse, or fail to pay amounts owed. You may close your account at any time from Settings.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
